Al, if you're gonna stay in Chicago in the spare bed Appie has you'll need Chicago shuttle pass for each day from the goods section and you need to get esta visa waiver completed online2009 - Manchester. 2010 - Dublin, Belfast, London, Berlin, Arras, Werchter. 2011 - PJ20 i & ii, Montreal, Toronto i & ii, Ottawa, Hamilton.

Bugger... the visa waiver - that takes time to come through. Do you have to do it every time you go to the US or once you do it, it's valid for a while?

Firstly thanks all for all the help (and reality checks haha!!).
Latest state of play is as follows:
BA flights out tomorrow back on tue are ready to be booked;
Can't get in touch with my boss to see about getting the time off - which is basically holding up everything;
Internet is not working in the office so my bro is doing it all for me;
I was in the US in jan so I think the visa issue is ok but better check it out;
The kids will be fine on bread and water and no shoes for a few weeks
just kidding but I have battled with myself about the whole 'this is stupid' argument;

I'll have to pick up shuttle bus tickets - if I get the ok from the boss;
I reckon I'll worry about tickets when I get there!

Al, if you book your flights, then book the shuttle, I don't think they can take payment on the day as it is a 10c organised thing, the company commissioned to run them will just have a list of names. Defo sort tickets on the day.
If you have to come via London, I am on the United Airlines (it was cheap,but yeah I know!) flight departing Heathrow at 12.20 tomorrow, Yvi is coming in from Hamburg then on the BA flight departing Heathrow at 15.25.

If you're going with a 10C Shuttle on Sunday...My brother and I have a rental car and hotel in Milwaukee (3 blocks from Sunday Shuttle pick up)...you can crash with us on Sat night if you want. Great story
