When I cut the lawn jamming to pearl jam I can't drown out the tractor with factory earbuds...don't feel like taking out the BOSE (bulky/hot in sun)

what would you suggest?

Skullcandy 50/50

plus I heard they are good for iphone, adjusting volume, putting on hold, microphone.....

Any thoughts???

Appreciate it PJ community....

I have a pair of Klipsch S4i, which also feature the phone controls, mic, etc. and I personally love the sound. They're a bit more expensive than the Skullcandy 'phones I believe (about $90), but they're very comfortable, similar in-ear style, and fit my ears quite well. I've always found Skullcandy headphones to be exaggerated in the bass department, and a bit of 'style over substance' going on.

    Beats by dre are GREAT!!!!

I got the 90$ ones and they come with ten or so ear buds so you can pick the right fit. There are times when my wife is calling me and I can't hear her at all.

They are iPhone compatible and have a mic attached to them.

I'm telling you, these are the best headphones I have ever had / used. And I'm an audiophile. Make sure to use the attachments that get inserted into your ear canal. Don't use the attachments that "hook" onto the inside of your ear. The attachments that go into your ear canal will actually give it a sound isolation feature, and the bass / treble is out of this world, if you select the right settings on your music player. I use the PowerAMP app on my Android device cell phone. Never been more impressed with sound quality and ease of use (app). The app music player plays FLAC and WAV files - which are of the highest quality digital files. Trust me on this. Not very expensive, which is another huge plus.

got the Ultimate Ears a while back. Frequently flying about once a week and best choice for noise blocking and comfort.
