If you are an Oasis fan, you have probably numerous times heard Noel go on an outrageous rant about why _____ is ____ or a/an _____... Most recently, I read a transcript of an interview with him about Radiohead, and how they're terrible because their latest album is about a tree... Something along the lines of "who the fuck writes an album about a tree? And if you do, why an ancient tree? Not even a new tree, a thousand year old tree, who cares?"
The guy makes me laugh with nearly everything he says because it's just so judgmental and nonsensical.

My two favorite bands are PJ and the rolling stones. I don't think there are two bands at this caliber that have as many "haters" as they do out there. I've been mocked so many times that I throw up in my mouth every time i hear one of the following:
"they sucked after Vitalogy"
"Is Keith Richards still alive"
"Steel Wheelchairs Tour?"
"Their concerts suck, I only recognized Even Flow and Betterman"
I did enjoy when one of them walked off stage and taunted the other brother from the crowd until a fight broke out. That was "Andy Kaufman" type entertainment!!
Very true. Its ok for Ed to slate other artists but not the other way round according to some people on here.
Anyway this thread is pointless, much like the other one. Oasis aren't even a band anymore.

Still like the band or the former band
As others have stated, this is just what Oasis has always done to get attention. I'm sure they're more popular in the U.K. than here in the States, but if it weren't for 1-2 songs, and the fact that they're always talking shit, I wouldn't even know who they are. And to me their shit-talking eclipses those 1-2 songs.
Back when they had their 15 minutes of fame in the U.S., I heard more about their antics than the actual substance of their work. Things like Liam heckling the band during the Unplugged set that his throat was too sore to participate in, and various other altercations were much more interesting than their music. And I think they knew that, because they certainly put more work into increasing their notoriety than their popularity.
They're like a bad reality show, only they also happen to record albums that I don't listen to.
Welcome to last century news.
I wonder what Ross Perot is up too? Maybe he can weigh in on foreign affairs?
:-)
Wow....harsh! I don't expect everybody to love PJ at all. Everybody has their own opinions in life, but there is a point where you should draw the line! For these guys to talk about Eddie and the hurt he has gone through in his own life AND talking about death to top it all off is going WAY over board!

I think both brothers say dumb shit because they know they can get a reaction.
