I love her
I believe in her
I believe that she is the one
I believe in second,
even third chances
I believe in saviors
I believe, that she is mine
Savior I mean
I believe this could work
I want this to work
I feel I need this to work
She is my third chance
At happiness
At dreams fulfilled
At true love
I believe all of this...
So why... am I scared to death?
Wish you all the best - Steve....
And yes, its ok to be scared to death. When the heart has been broken several times - its best to take things slowly.
I agree " Its better to have loved and lost then never have loved at all " Love is truly a beautiful thing no matter how long or short it is.... take care always.*********************************************************************************************0 -

tonight I needed,
a friend
someone to talk to,
anyone
someone to tell me
that it will be.... okay
that this will work out
that they love me
tonight I needed,
a friend
someone to help me
believe
that there is more than
this
more than I'm feeling now
tonight I needed
a friend
tonight,
I needed you....
but there was no one.
I like this one - thank you for sharing.... " you are never alone "*********************************************************************************************0 -

I talk to my Mama still, she's there in my head, on the other side
and she makes me feel better
there is more than this ... you can believe ... just ask

we held hands underwater
chest deep in pools of leaves
hiding our love from the world
because the world could never understand
the others believed in fate and dreams
while we only believed in one another
no more would the night stay quiet
the peaceful darkness interrupted
as sheets of diamonds fell to the earth
flaming chaos crossed the sky
revealing the true ugliness of the night
our only protection from the void
was the energy being spent
beneath the surface of the glassy water
our bodies becoming one
our love solidified
the echo’s throughout the night
still sustain mePeace, Love.

a wispy tree blows gently
throughout the day
keeps time to the clock that never moves
like a pot that will not boil,
waiting for release
each picture framed along a walk
the stories weave
we make our own ... store under glass,
waiting for release
brought together by fate ... or what?
it matters not
just take and keep
and blow along,
waiting for release0 -

let me not waste the day
let me hold the magic that is the night
walk with me in forrests of life
together we hold the key
we are the magic of the night
we are the dawn of a new day.
you tell me that your heart it bleeds
you say you can't see the day thru the trees
and the night just don't come around anymore
my friend you've closed the door.
star lit nights that light the way
and shooting stars that bring the day
wait for you to open the door
step outside and cry no more.
feel the magic that fills the night
leave the pain that hides your smile
to the stars that fill the sky.

That's great Pandi, it was great before I knew what was behind it, knowing the jury duty bit makes it brilliant.Peace, Love.

Has anyone read "Donations to Clarity" by Noah Baird? One of the main characters can only communicate in song lyrics when she's upset. There's a chapter in the book where her and her boyfriend break up just by communicating in PJ song lyrics! The whole chapter was pieced together with lines from different songs, but it made total sense! It was really wild to read how the author used the words and music that move us in a different medium.0

I'll check it out sounds different and very creative.
I can relate too ... song lyrics ... upset or otherwise always in my head.

Melancholy
just a beautiful word ... melancholy
really
a pretty word for a not so pretty place
a place one can't quite place
Melancholy
it arrives in a fog
creeps in
covers thoughts
grays it all
so they don't matter
so nothing matters
Melancholy
the aftermath of trauma
maybe the precursor
a sixth sense to doom
another word for gloom
readying a wall
to damn the tears
in a blue numb fortress
the only place to hide
Melancholy
sounds like a tune of sad bells
echoing defeat
no...
no sound
it is silence
except for the incessant heart beat
that just can't stop
with each beat
emotion lays silent
stifled
Melancholy
no energy for anger
no energy for tears
fear is absent
there is no battle
Melancholy
defeat without battle
Melancholy
no game no win
no gain to be had
Melancholy
walking in the rain
without getting wet
not seeing the birds
not feeling the sunshine
not wanting to
hear a voice
nor see a face
no touch
don't touch
Melancholy
It is not living
it is life on hold
till Time makes it
just a beautiful word againPost edited by pandora on0 -
