I'm dispointed that I missed out on all the fun, but it's Saturday afternoon in SF and it's sunny (a rarity lately). I'm glad you guys had audio for the show.

Wow! That is great. I've already seen the youtube link for the video from last nights show. Too bad it wasn't for the whole show.

BTW - Where's the fashion update?!?!?!

Are you kidding?! That's a frickin' monster of a setlist in terms of pure rock joy. Apart from Black and Small Town the guys just gave you no time to breathe! I was breathless listening to it on the radio.

I'm sorry but you don't need rarities to kill the pace when a set is so rockin' like that.

Wow, is that really you mic?!?! I didn't think you would be so critical, but that's ok. It must be the higher elevation.

I agree that the setlist wasn't great. It's not even an issue of rarities. Only 20 songs and far too similar to last night for my taste. Ledbetter to close is cliche enough without establishing Alive as THE first set closer and Black as THE second encore opener. Fact is, they played only six songs of their own from the past 12 years. That's just wrong.

Agh, sorry for my repetition. But i just don't understand how someone can look at that setlist and say its weak. If i were there i wouldn't have stopped jumping! The band were on fire.

The length is def something to bitch about.

Performance of course always makes or breaks the show and I can't comment on the performance, because I missed it.

Setlist debate: Lisbon vs. Madrid ---> Madrid.

why is it weak for cause they played alot of "HITS". its a FESTIVAL REMEMBER that, so of course there gonna play alot of "HITS" and if u dont think there gonna play alot of "HITS" at lolla then u will be very much let down by them cause thats what there gonna play at lolla. dont know if your going to lolla and dont really care.for some people in europe this is there only chance to see em, there not like u and i where we are spolied little brats. maybe there is a reason they dont wanna play the usa for 12 dates like there are in europe.

Isn't it festival management who determines how long the bands play though? And even IF it was PJ's choice, they're probably just trying to conserve energy so that every show is performed well. 90 minutes or so for a festival set isn't a disappointment, it was to be expected and the band just kicked ass for 90 mins.

Some people are never satisfied unless the band plays some outrageous set of nothing but rarities and the songs THEY deem okay to be played often. Blow it out your asses! This set list was fine. Hey Green Disease! I don't recall that one played often. They opened with Porch! When was the last time they did that? Seems like a good solid albeit short setlist. I'd be happy if I saw this show at a festival.

I'm sure they do have a time limit and I understand that they will have other long shows......However, I look at them like they are a collective "Superman". In the perfect world, it would be great if they could do a 40 song setlist. I have, as many others, become addicts to Pearl Jam. We need more, more, more. It's difficult to accept a shorter set at a festival. My mind understands it, but my addiction doesn't care. This is even worse at the Bridge benefit concert (45 minute set, but at least it's accoustic). With all this said, whether it's 45, 90, or 180 minutes long, it's still a kick ass time!
