PJ20: Decent Hotels Left?

Now that we're just a couple short weeks away, my company has finally decided to make the hotel/flight reservations for PJ20 (I'm headed out to cover the event) - now the question: what's left?

Are there any hotels available in the area that people are aware of? I don't need a 5 star hotel by any means, but if the company's paying, I'd rather steer clear of the roach motel, if you know what I mean.

Either way, I'm beyond thrilled to be able to go, after being utterly convinced that it was a non-option just a few weeks ago. Thanks for any and all help/pointers in the right direction!

    Yeah, no thanks.

So Geneva Lake sounds like the only real option...?

My hotel is about 20-25 miles away from Alpine and I've got an extra bed in my room if you don't find anything closer. 3.5 star hotel, Milwaukee Sheraton Brookefield. It's only $42 each a night to split it.

I am staying at The Cove. It's worth a try if it has any vacancies, here's a coupon:

You need to use a website like kayak or tripadvisor that use multiple searches and check daily. I've been on the lookout for about 10 days and finally booked a room at the Americinn in Burlington just this afternoon for $105/night. Rooms randomly seem to open up, you just have to be online at the right time.

The one exception seems to be the Sleep Inn in Mukwonago thats always been available, probably because its $300/night. But at least its close....

Keep searching, a couple of times a day if you have time, I've seen other hotels that I'm not interested in pop up once in awhile.

Half a queen bed available to share with an Aussie guy, in the other bed in our room of 4, at The Abbey.
115 bucks for half a haircut by a novice? I want my money back!
