Country View Camp Ground who's gonna be there?

does someone know how to come to Countryview Campground by public bus??

Hello Fellow Jammers,

You are receiving this because your e-mail was associated with the $60 payment securing the spots on the bus for your party. Please forward this e-mail or inform the others in you group of what is covered below.


We are getting close to what is shaping up to be a Labor Day weekend that we will never forget and the last spots on the 3rd and final bus were paid for today. There will be 3 school buses with 40 people per bus full of some old and soon to be new friends. The contract is signed and the upfront cost has been paid to the bus company. The buses have been secured for Sat and Sun 11:30AM-1:00AM and they will stay in the parking lot all day for tailgating. The name of the company we are using is Hank’s Transportation and they are licensed and insured to carry kids to school so you are in good hands . By law they cannot have any coolers or anything blocking the aisle so a couple seats were left open for tailgating supplies. Adult beverages can be opened and consumed legally during the ride.

The cost for the bus was $877.50 per bus per day for a total of $5265.00 (The signed contract is attached to this e-mail). Parking is $100 per bus per day which brings the total to $5865.00. The drivers are kind for accepting a job on a holiday weekend and with good service deserve a tip. I believe a reasonable tip would be $150 per driver per day which brings the total to $6765.00. Each person has paid $60 for a total of $7200.00 that has been collected. This means that everyone is due a refund of $3.62. This is such a small amount to each of us but a large amount to some in need such as those helped by the Wishlist Foundation. I will refund any money owed at the campgrounds if you like or we can pool it together and donate the remaining $435 to the Wishlist Foundation.

Please review the attached spreadsheet and E-Mail me any of the missing information requested. If you notice that your name is not near the others in your party then let me know and I will make sure you get on the same bus. The information requested on the spreadsheet is listed below.

1. The names of the people that you paid for. If you see your name more than once then I’m missing someone.
2. Your Site #
3. A contact number for you or someone in your party.
4. Message Pit names would be cool also.
5. Any fees that were assessed to your transfer that needs to be paid. If you select that the transfer is “personal” and a “gift” you can avoid another fee.


Fellow camper's Eric D. and David B. have put together a map of the campgrounds that shows where the sites are located. He would like to add where everyone is staying so you can have a copy to find people when you arrive. **Thanks Eric and David**. When you respond via e-mail with the information needed just let me know if it is ok to share your names and site numbers with others and I will forward it to him to add.

A buddy and I are in need of a ride from the Chicago to Country View on Friday and from Country View to Chicago on Monday if anyone has room. We land in Chicago on Friday at 9:30AM and don’t mind killing time in Chicago if needed. We don’t fly back till Tuesday so we can leave at your leisure on Monday. If not then we will just rent a car so no sweat.

Please stop by my campsite (T-12) anytime after 3pm Friday so I can put a face with the name and know that you are at the campgrounds. Be ready to gather by the buses by 11:00AM. I booked this place right after I got tickets but never got any confirmation emails or anything. Of course, I don't remember if they asked for my email. They charged my credit card $50 in early July though. How do you guys know what site/area you are in already? Thanks. Just wondering if I should be calling them to make sure everything is set up.

those are emails for the shuttle buses that a few of the guys put together..


You have your spot at the site, dont worry.

Thats what I figure. My question is how do you guys know what campsite spot you already have? I didn't get an email about that or any confirmation. Thanks.

BTW, I was on the original shuttle bus list email but me and my cheap ass friend decided we would just drive ourselves. Hope that doesn't become a huge drunken mistake...sounds like you will have a blast though.
