    Downloadable content. It means you would download from XBL or PS Store, it would not actually be released on a disk and sold in stores.

    I hope that is true. If that is the complete track listing there is some very glaring (and strange) omissions such as RVM, Corduroy and Given To Fly, which is even more off based on the fact that they've included a few songs that have studio versions that are already available as DLC (Porch, Black, Even Flow).

    But the most disappointing omission from my point of view is Immortality :(

    That said, I would happily take the listed tracks as DLC and overlook the omissions.

    You'd have to know what Rock Band is to really understand what this is all about. I was actually going to make a thread asking what happened to this project. Glad to see it may still see the light of day.

    If it's coming, it would obviously make sense that it's released to coincide with the festival and the movie. So if we see it, it will be within the next month or so.

    To fuel the flames a little more... the three Fall Out Boy tracks that were "found" using the same method and at the same time as finding these Pearl Jam tracks, were announced today for release Tuesday.

    Thats awesome! Whether you like FOB or not; I say this because it definitely adds some substance to the reports. Hopefully something will come together soon, makes sense to release it as DLC rather than a store release I think.

    I may have dreamt this but didn't some Soundgarden stuff get released on DLC for Rock Band last month?

    I picked up Rock Band on ebay this week and its arrived today so gonna rock on it tonight while the wife is out!

    Similarly "found" RHCP tracks were announced on Monday for release August 30th. I'm betting on an announcement September 2nd for release September 7th... get your credit cards ready.

    I remember them having this contest / fan selection thing to pick songs for the DLC back a year or two ago. I know that they did put the DLC for Backspacer with the CD (deluxe only?) so we can only hope they will add more.

    Anyone see this Backspacer packaging? I like the one 1-star feedback giver's comment.
