    Maybe there should be a sign-up list for people who will def be in Chicago on 9/1 so 10C can email them at the last minute.

    They COULD do what the Foo Fighters did last week which still left a ton of people angry, but...

    Announce @ 10:30 a show that goes on sale 30 minutes later. The show was two days later... made it a little more difficult for people to scalp since they didnt have as much time to get it setup and also rewarded people who follow them on twitter/facebook.

    That said.. if it was TC only they could say announce it the afternoon of like 8/29 for an 8/30 onsale. Show is two days later... which might eliminate some last minute travel but won't make it any easier for anyone. :)

    I love what the Foo Fighters did. The 'Tour Of Los Angeles' earlier this year... Dave tweeted, which was relayed almost immediately to the Foo Forum, that they were playing... but, not where they were playing. We got photos from the road, giving us clues. It was fun. The shows were announced hours before showtime and you had to get to the venue... 20 bucks cash only... ONE ticket per person... swap the 20 for a wristband... slapped on the wrist, shoved in the door... no ins/outs. 200 to 600 people got to see a 3 hour show. Pretty much, locals only.

    Yeah that would be one way to do it... I'd like to think they can find a good middle ground so everyone has a chance since it would probably just be the one warmup as opposed to a handful. I do love the way that the FF tend to do things like that though - very fan friendly. Not that PJ isn't fan friendly, but it seems like the FFs have gone above and beyond on this tour with the LA tour, the garage tour, etc...
