Warmup show odds... timing...
Anyone else waiting for a warmup show announcement for 2-3 days before PJ20?
I'm guessing IF they do it... announcement at the end of the next week and the sale on like the 22nd-24th to give a week before the show? Seems about the same for the Vic show timeline -- although that might have even been a few more days compacted from on-sale to show.
Fun to think about I guess... not fun to think about trying for tickets though!!

If they did MLPS, Milwaukee or Chitown, I might try to make that happen, but it'd be tough as the old man and I are going to be in the midst of a 2,000 mile motorcycle trip.
"Real bikers" say its not about the destination, it's about the journey. Usually they're right, but when PJ20 is the destination, it's about the destination.

IF they did a warmup show...I wonder where it'd be.
Minneapolis? Milwaukee? Chicago? All 3 would be as good a guess as any. Probably not a full arena-type show, so I'd guess Chicago? Who knows...it'd be tough to believe that they're going into their 20th Anniversary shows cold. They haven't played since, what, October 2010?
Oh how my wife would bitch if I told her that we were going to try to make a warm-up show too. She's a big fan but I would definitely get the "but you're seeing them 2 days in a row next weekend" speech...

You'd think Chicago just because they probably wouldnt want to move equipment too much outside of the midwest, but it could be Milwaukee, Minn, Detroit, etc..
It could also be Seattle before they leave for the shows maybe mid-week... I guess thats the wildcard of it too.
I just cant believe they'd play two shows like that w/o playing a warmup, but... I don't think they really need to practice that much these days either.
The wait is on...0 -
We all will get shut out of tickets anyway so hopefull they just do PJ 200

i thought PJ20 was the warmup??? (for Canada!)

I think if they did a warmup show it would be a secret show. Sort of like when Soundgarden played at the showbox last year under a different name0

Where is the Vic and does it's calendar have an empty spot for such a show?Charles
