So I am about to blow a lot of $ on both nights via stub hub, has anyone been to Alpine Valley before where they could help me with a seating location question?
- I am seeing several pairs of tix that say "possible obstructed view" Does anyone know where the obstructed views are. Also, if sitting on the side sections in 201 & 203 if I am in the back WW orr YY is it a bad or obstructed seat?
Thanks again if anyone has been there before

  • How much you going to pay for those obstructed seats????

If they are obstructed and in the last 3 rows of the pavillion....
Wouldnt you be better off just getting lawn seats for face value???
    Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
  • No, I am NOT going to buy obstructed, I am asking if anyone has been there so I know which sections are in fact obstructed and do not buy them

Somebody here had posted some pictures of Alpine (hopefully they see this thread) and it was showing the obstructed seats. The obstructed seats, I am pretty sure, were in all three of the back pavillion sections.

  • Thanks,
I am seeing a sound board in the 202 section which makes aaa-ccc obstructed somewhat
  • Actually I think it was "Brew Crew Tix" who had posted a bunch of pictures of the venue with seat locations....

  • Other than the soundboards the only other obstructed seats, will/might have a nice direct view of a steal beam/post....

  • i just listened to that boot last night...pretty damn cold huh? So how obstructed was your view next to the sound board?

I don't remember having an issue with view. It was cold but oh it was fun. :)

i agree with some of the other fellas here, don't drop a ton of money on stub hub (unless, you can grab crazy good pavillion seats, then by all means spend what you feel is appropriate)... tickets will be bountiful in the days prior to and even in the parking lot before the show(s). i've been to av a number of times, and in my opinion, the back of the pavilion, unless you get it for face value or very close to it wouldn't be worth it when there could be $20 lawn tickets to be had (which i assure you there will be). good luck and hope to see ya there!
  • Thanks, def. going to wait it out for a few more weeks, just don't want to get there and have to rely on getting a legit ticket in the lot, especially with my wife & father in law with me. I was told the lawn seats are not good @ all @ Alpine Valley
