What are some apps I should get for my iPhone?

Oh man, where to start? I'll just list the ones that I use most often I guess...

Pearl Jam app - Obvious reasons. I think it's $2 and it's a decent way to post here. You can't access PMs and navigating through it can kind of suck, but you can't access the forum via Safari at all so it's the only option you have (unless you download a different browser).

Dropbox - A great way to add files from your pc and have them stored in the cloud so you can access them from anywhere.

Wunderlist - Just a simple list organizer app, but I use it a lot. I'll think of something I need from the grocery or something and just quickly make a note of it.

Splashtop - A remote desktop client. Install software on your pc and you can access your computer from your phone and have access to everything on it.

Hipstamatic - Very cool camera app, it let's you use different lenses and films to make your pics like like old time pictures.

Tell Me Later - Very simple reminder app. You set what you need to remember and what time and it pushes a notification at that time. Like "I need to remember to do whatever when I get home". Set a reminder for it and you're good to go.

Grab some good games as well of course. Angry Birds, Words with Friends, Hanging with Friends, Infinity Blade, Burn the Rope... I guess those are the basics.

I could keep going and going, but that should get you started haha.

Pandora- A really cool radio app

Facebook- Really easy to use

Ragdoll Blaster- Another very fun game

honestly i wouldn't waste your money on the pearl jam app, unless you really really really need to post on the forum from your phone, other wise it's pretty much pointless and a waste of money. i got it and never use it.

angry birds, angry birds rio, angry birds seasons.

Fruit Ninja

kindle or other ebook reader if you like to read.

paper toss and stickman golf are both pretty cool for killing time.

if you got kids disney puts out a shitload of books and puzzle books from movies like cars, toy story, finding nemo and so on which keeps my 4 year old entertained.


you can jailbreak it and get pretty much all the itunes apps and some not available from apple for free, but it does void your warranty and all that stuff. but it is fairly easy to do.

And you definitely need Shazam! -tags any music you have it near (just not live stuff, unfortunately).

words with friends- so addicting.

Follow Toucharcade on twitter, or bookmark their site. They do a good job of noting when good titles drop to cheap or free. For example, all of Pangea software titles are free today (7/11). Haven't played them, but did download a few.

Also, Carcassone is an excellent strategy game (and overall a great board game too).

Angry Birds IS addicting...I'm playing words with friends every day, and Mr. RK was laughing at me, 'That's not a phone, it's a mini computer that has an app that can be used as a phone'...so I downloaded Angry Birds and let him play...now he asks me every day, 'Are you playing scrabble right now? Can I play Angry Birds?' and he has my phone for about 2 hours...

I like my android because there are lots of apps for free...and they have most of the games that Apple has banned.

I have a movies app- Flixster I think. Skype obviously. Live Profile is good for live text messaging. Twitter.
