  • I would have to say Jesus. You know I was seeing the light while in the operating room and this bearded dude told me everything was going to be alright. Does that count?

The poison from the poison stream caught up to you ELEVEN years ago and you floated out of here. Sept. 14, 08

While on this, when I was 10-12 while I was home alone for the very first time in my life, I saw a bright light on my left. When I turned to see, it was Mother Mary in all Her glory. I remember that She was so tall and was giving me a big smile. When I stood up to go and touch Her, She disappeared.

I was 9 and I met Martin Shaw. ( A british actor from the TV Show ' The Professionals'.
At that stage in my life he was my hero.
On Australian national TV, Martin Shaw was directed to meet a huge fan.

I met, and got a kiss on the cheek by, on national telly, my hero........

Until I meet Pearl Jam in the street, nothing is going to top the above! :geek:

the most famous people I've ever met?? Playing Polo with The Princes of Wales, in 94. That would be Charles and Harry, for some reason that I cannot remember William was not there.. I got kicked out of the game for calling Harry a clod when he kept Bar-checking my horse..
Other than that I've taken the drummer and his road tech from Aerosmioth, Ed O'Neil, and Arnold Schwarzzeneger(?) horseback riding, oh and stupid assed Shannon Doherty too. And drove a buckboard wagon for Sonny Bono in a Palm Springs, prarade, just four months before he died.. and I picked up Nick Nolte off a dance floor, when the Chef at our company and he go into a fight and Steve cleaned his clock..Steve went to jail, the other seven of us were too drunk to drive and we had to walk back to the Polo Grounds..17 miles away!!!

Eddie Vedder and Neil Young in the Waldorf, NYC, the night they inducted him into the R&R Hall of Fame.
They didn't exactly speak to me, but they saw us and gave us the "how did u riffraff sneak onto the private floors of this hotel?" look. We just kept walking, psyched beyond beleif that we'd found them.
Later in the night, Eddie came out and was pretty cool, albeit rushed, and trying no to be seen at all.

Ron Howard walking with his assistant midtown Manhattan a few years ago. Told him how much I enjoyed Arrested Development.

Got back to my office and perusing Google news, read that the show was officially cancelled that morning.
