    After the EV tour, I think there is a high degree of interest in Glen Hansard, so maybe he isn't going to be on a side stage?

    -the side stages are going to be at the top of the hill on either side, if memory serves. one band will play one stage, while the other stage is being prepped. when the 1st band finishes, the 2nd band begins on the other stage & so on...
    -someone said that would be an solo/acoustic-y stage & a full band stage....
    -as far as i know, the only bands that are playing the main stage are PJ, QOTSA, Strokes & Mudhoney.

    Yes it helps. Funny there is no diagram or photos for this. Haven't there been side stages over the years for other shows? I had hoped I will be able to see the side stages from the 10C lawn section, just pivot to the side of the lawn for each performance, or walk over for a closer look. But if they are at the top of the hill maybe not.

    Since were on the subject of the lawn, I was just wondering if anyone was familiar with how Alpine usually lays out the fan club lawn areas.

    I've seen in pictures that the lawn looks like its divided into about three sections with walkways in between. Are the fan club areas usually just in the middle section headed towards the back of the lawn, or is it usually spread out across the whole front of the lawn?

    Just curious....

    I do like to see the Queens. Then Glen, Liam and X. But others don't interest me much. Although there is a good chance of Vedder coming out during Mudhoney's set.

    And would I have to let people in the cage know I am going to the bathroom or that I am going to check out another band?? hehehehehehehehehehehe

    Like would I have to ask for permission? Just to make sure my shit doesnt get thrown out of the cage, so you people can move 4 inches closer to the stage???

    I don't think spots in the "cage" are going to be that hard to come by, unless you are one of those people who aren't entering the venue until PJ comes on. Right now, our plan for Saturday is to check out all of the other bands on the side stages, then move down to the cage before Mudhoney/QOTSA/Strokes. Assuming those bands start about 3-4 hours before PJ (including time to set up and break down equipment), I don't think there will be any issue finding a spot in the reserved area that still gives me a decent view of the stage - seems like a lot of people will still be tailgating or otherwise be outside of the venue at that time. Then we'll just hang there and eat food while waiting for PJ!
