You talking about the pre-party Friday???

    Been there..
    Done that....

Over crowded, sweaty bar, serving over-priced drinks???

Or kicking back with a few good friends
    Pouring my own drinks....
    Relaxing....

    Its a no-brainer......

I like your way of thinking. The more I think about it...the more I want to avoid that place. Even though I'd love to hear cluthe/lee play.
I am sure everyone who goes there....Will have a blast!!!!
But I am going to take a pass this time......

Ill see everyone on Saturday and Sunday......
    Have I actually met you?

    Seattle? Vancouver? Philly?

I'm easy to find. Half cut blonde mullet wig. Flag. Make sure you say hi. You may not remember to. I probably won't remember it afterwards. It'll be a laugh.

My hope is that on Sunday my wife and her sister decide they just want to chill in the lawn together(they live 2000 miles apart) and that I can sit in the seats for night 2 as well!!!

Do you think the cage will be able to regulate itself and allow people to come and go to hit the port-o-pot and get food, and then be able to return to their spot?

I'm pretty much counting on it. I want to check out several of the side stage acts.

If you leave for an hour to check out another band I would highly doubt you would get your spot back. A bathroom break is another story and I'm sure people would understand that.

That's what I was thinking. 10 or 15 minutes is all I ask for.

you said you wanted to check out other acts not go to the bathroom. If you leave to go see another band, I doubt you will still have your spot.

The side stage acts are going to play, what, half-hour sets? I'm not talking about hanging out up there for four hours at a time.

Maybe you're right, but I hope you're not. I'd like to think that the people with 10c tix would respect their fellow fans enough to allow them to actually enjoy the event that they're attending.

Y'know, it'd be nice to actually see a few of the bands that are playing without worrying that some douchebag is watching my spot like a meter maid waiting for an imaginary time limit to expire just so he can get three feet closer to the stage. People start doing that and they're just opening themselves up for someone else to grab their spots the second they vacate them.

Reading these comments about people wanting to see other acts--- of course you should be able to see them! If you and your S.O. leave your blanket to see a performer or need a break in the other 10C area to get some shade etc. you shouldn't have to worry about losing your lawn spot. Most of us are middle-aged and too mature to act otherwise. It might only get dicey when the barrier is lowered, and even then, unless a specific spot is being saved and everyone around knows it, intruders will be told to "move along". But I do have some questions:

Is there a photo or diagram of where the side stages are?

Is it set in 'Stone' which performers/bands play where?

After the EV tour, I think there is a high degree of interest in Glen Hansard, so maybe he isn't going to be on a side stage?
