Seattle Wishlist
Well, this is a wishlist for night 1 atleast. Here's what I'd hope to hear:
Off He Goes - This is at the top of my list, as this song has alot of personal meaning to me. I was estatic to hear it when PJ played at the Key Arena almost two years ago, but I could imagine Ed's more intimate, acoustic version just sounding amazing.
Long Road - This is another great song, as I was fortunate enough to hear PJ open up their last Seattle shows with this song. I think the live version I heard was much better than any of the previous recorded ones (much more energy and emotion). I'd really like to hear Ed do an acoustic solo of this song as well.
Wishlist- No pun intended
End of the Road (w/ Glen on the drums) - Makes sense, doesn't it? I hope he's been saving it for Seattle.
Photographs - I love this instrumental that was tucked away in the Into the Wild Soundtrack. Unlikely that we'll hear it, but I can only hope.
Rise - Another amazing song off the Into the Wild Soundtrack.
Corduroy - Don't know if he would play this without the band.
Broken Heart - One of my favorites off of Ukelele Songs
I Am a Patriot - I feel like one of our first glimpses of Eddie doing the solo acoustic thing was at the '92 Bridge School. I know he's kind of tried to avoid discussing politics since Obama's been President, but today's politics are as dysfunctional as ever, so it'd be awesome if he could pull this one out of his pocket.
Blood (on the uke) - Ok Ok, I had to throw one in for comic relief.
Yellow Ledbetter with Mike McCready - Another long shot since this already happened in Long Beach, but it would be amazing to hear this live as well.
No Woman, No Cry - I saw a video on YouTube where Ed plays the intro of this song leading into Better Man. I could only imagine how incredible it would sound.
What are you guys thinking?
