My sister was just telling me she knows someone who saw this concert back in 90/91, before Ten came out. He said his ticket cost 14 bucks!! Apparently it was supposed to be Nirvana instead of SP, but for some reason they couldn't make it. It'd be pretty sweet if SP and RHCP showed up at PJ20. Not a bad gig to see though for 14 bucks -- lucky guy!

Smashing has no shot to be at PJ20 and the Chili Peppers are....well no they won't be there either.

I think as a thank you to the fans who have been with them for 20 years, they should've charged us what tickets cost in '91
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.0 -
This would have been awesome to see. I was looking at setlists one day and the stop they did here in Cincinnati had those three bands as well as Nirvana.* Cincinnati, OH 8.20.2000 *

I went to the first show of that tour, in Madison, WI. It was Oct.16, 1991 at the Madison Civic Center. Ten had been released, but hadn't taken off yet. My aunt took me and we got the last 2 tickets for the show. PJ blew the crowd away!0

Yeah I was wondering if this guy got his facts straight. Seemed like Ten would have had to be released for them to be opening for RHCP, who were the hottest band around at that time. That must have been some show -- thanks for posting!Another habit says it's in love with you

The tickets for my first PJ show in 94 were $16. Not bad.0

I'm going to throw it out there and add on to a prev. thread, and say SP would be a dealbreaker for me if they showed up at PJ20.0

Billy Corrigan has insulted EV and PJ before so no dice. I did like the pumpkins in the 90s tho.0

I was at NIU when all three played. It was unreal that Red Hot CP was was going to be there. I never heard of SP or Pearl Jam before. I remeber seeing Mookie Blaylock stuff there and wondering who the heck is that?0

Considering Billy boy has Eddie penis envy I'm fairly sure we won't have to listen to him and his nasal singing.0 -

Haha oh they definitely are.. but Corgan's voice.. I think I'd be happier at a Jonas Brothers concert than SP.
