Baseball shouldn't be played indoors. I don't give a fuck if it's 962 degrees in the desert.

seriously. why is there a dome in a desert?

I guess beccause it's hot as balls all summer, that's all I can think of. I couldn't imagine playing 81 games in that heat but indoor baseball just blows.

He isn't that big of a guy and generates his home runs with bat speed. I love watching the guy play, but I just don't think he's built to succeed in a home run derby.

I don't think his pitcher did him any favors. you could tell he wanted balls middle in and the dude pitching was painting the black on the outer half.

anyway, this thing has been pretty shitty so far

I think he had Canos dad pitching to him too.

Kind of boring so far, no one's really wowing yet except for Cano, a few of those shots were absolute bombs, as a Yankee fan I didn't even know he had that kind of power.

I know they said it a few times today, and quoted Granderson, but I have definitely heard before that he puts on an absolute show in BP. I guess it's from that screen drill he does with K Long.

I thought I heard the announcers say it was the Blue Jays bullpen catcher.

I think I've seen him hit a shot a few times during the games.

Absolute monster. They showed his swing in slow motion and it's great.

Yep but Cano has had that beautiful swing since he came up to the majors. It's definitely improved over the years.

No doubt his swing has always been sweet but they say that drill he does with Long where they put a screen across the outer half of the plate so he has to keep his hands in has been a huge help.

That was fun. Dude tore it up.

Ortiz is an attention whore. Standing right behind Cano every second. Go away, your boy lost.

They're boys, plus he chose him for the team. Like my Dominican friend said, Dominicans are cousins with each other.
