In Green Disease... what is this a reference too? I looked up "Ti leaves"..... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cordyline_fruticosa ..... Doesn't shed much light on it. Any thoughts?

I think it's another way of saying "too much of a good thing". Ti is a common plant in Hawaii, introduced by polynesians, it's used for lei's, hula skirts, emu's, etc. The plant has naturalized to many native forests and "choked" out rare plants.0
