And there’s still time to enter a team before the registration deadline on Tuesday, July 12

The adult competition for 18 and up is Saturday, July 16. Packet pickup will begin at 8:30 a.m. A captain’s meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m., followed by matches beginning at 10 a.m. Men’s, women’s and co-rec divisions are available. The adult fee is $125 for a team of six to 10 players.

Olympic Park is at 1675 E. Old Schaumburg Road, just west of Martingale Road and Route 53 in Schaumburg. For information or to register a team, call (847) 985-2120 or visit dodgeballusa.com.

    Sounds like fun.

    But is a dodge ball like a soccer ball? I would think that would hurt if someone hurled that at you.

    I can't remember from my youth what kind of ball was used.

    in my school, they were red and sort of felt like a thicker bike inner tube tire. air pressure was defiantly lower than a soccer ball. they can sting, but not to bad.

    runs on the hour.....although night schedule blows with the two hour wait...

    catch the blue line out to rosemount and switch to bus to woodfield, i'll pick you up there. :P

    I've used that move. It's called the "pigeon toed flying squirrel". He really didn't elevate enough but he was still effective.
