    From this show so far, Letterman, After-Letterman show, and Astoria, I hate to say it, but it seems like much of the spontaneity from the setlists has disappeared :(

    they are trying to promote a record with astoria and post-letterman... and NYC is giving all of the diehards etc.. a first glimpse of the songs live and up close

    I'm not sure what you mean. All of the shows you listed were to promote the new album, so of course they are going to play a lot of the new songs.
