Is it over already
Before it’s begun
I thought we’d be friends
Just having some fun
I’ve poured out my heart
Your motives aren’t clear
Confused and upset
I can’t stop the tears
Trapped and afraid
Can’t put up a fight
Head in the clouds
My only respite
Facing reality
A burdensome chore
Not willing to accept
I’m just a dumb whore
I want true love
I want a soul mate
Don’t want to lie
Don’t want to hate
Can’t make a promise
Been there, done that
Can’t make you wait
I guess that’s where it’s at
No time to be void or save up on life...you've got to spend it all.
