Delta...you BASTARDS

I was fortunate enough to fly from NC to St. Louis this weekend to see Ed at the Fox. My wife and I went to the Wishlist party, met some new friends, saw some old friends, went to the show, had a blast!

We flew back to Raleigh last night and discovered my checked luggage from St. Louis had not made it back on the same flight. Whatever, no big deal. I would have the bag Monday morning, they said. I received the bag a little while ago and opened it up to find someone had either stolen or misplaced the yellow bag given at the venue to put your E.V. merchandise in at the show Friday night. Three t-shirts, and two hoodie's. My running shoes were also missing. And no, they were not left at the hotel. We made sure everything was packed in our suitcase before we left. Definitely puts a damper on what was otherwise an awesome weekend.

    was hoping I might be able to help with something, but a no-go on all of these items. Maybe someone will have an extra of something and help you out.
    I am going to assume the hoodies were large also?

    Last month my neighbor had her new phone taken by airport security to put in one of those trays that go through the conveyor belt... only the basket emerges on the other side without the phone... so she makes TSA watch the surveillance tapes, and mysteriously "they couldn't see from the angle what was going on"- If you google "TSA theft", it's actually amazingly common these days...

    Thanks for the offers on the stuff. I appreciate it, but no one needs to send anything. I look back on this post and realize other people, namely Chris in Joplin, have it so much worse than losing a couple of concert t's and hoodies from an airline. Guess I just wanted to vent my frustration. (But I will never fly Delta again.....those BASTARDS!!) :evil:

    I'm right there with you. It was because of Delta that I missed my flight to St. Louis (on a perfectly timed itinerary mind you) for the PJ show last year. Ugh...still pissed about that one...
