seriously if letting people know you've seen Creed 4 times isn't cool I don't know what is..

I still rock out to OLP, and yes- I saw them open for Creed too.

yeah I still like OLP, I don't really care for their last 2 albums, but the previous work is still enjoyable.

LOL at OLP opening for Creed. Creed should be kissing OLP's asses.

    Just got back --

I guess that if you ask me what was most memorable I'd say how abrupt it ended. I dont know if they got caught off guard or what, but to end on Alive felt weird.

That and they soundchecked 5 AMAZING songs and didnt play one of them (btw, Education was also soundchecked).

I dont know why if you know a curfew is going to be that tight you don't either go on earlier or at least start on time.

Kind of a disappointing show - and please, Ed, don't repeadetly reference having all night and testing endurance when its going to be the shortest show of the tour. Please... everyone actually believed it!

    October of 1999

it was Oleander, Our Lady Peace, and Creed

actually, I forgot another shitty concert. I won a OLP meet and greet in 2003 and they happened to be opening for 3 Doors Down and Shinedown also played. That was when OLP jumped the shark for me, I sat there looking at where I was and OLP was never the same to me

Too tired to read more than the last page, but I echo the feeling of the abrubt ending...Ending on Alive with the house lights not yet turned on? It sucked...show was o.k., but had I not been at Hartford, I'd be pretty let down...

So, basically what I learned was. Dont hype a show.

Hyped shows: Bonnaroo, Camden, MSG, Mansfield

    Not hyped shows: Everything else.

Best shows: Bonnaroo, Columbia, DC, Hartford

The best shows of the tour were mostly unhyped shows. MSG was probably epic, but their setlist was pretty recycled.

I still don't think Bonnaroo was that great of a show. Maybe the crowd was great but there's no way that setlist is so superior to every other show. They basically did the same thing in Camden and MSG 1, AND MORE! But no one says anything about that.

    Best shows imo so far:

    1. Hartford
    2. Columbia
    3. D.C.
    4. MSG 2

I thought it was an amazing show. I will agree on the abrupt ending but everything else was great.

    anything said about abrupt end?
"WE'RE UH, WE'RE GONNA DO THIS ONE WHICH IS UH, CERTAINLY NOT A USUAL ONE, AND THEN UH, JUST TAKE A FEW MORE MINUTES, THEN UH, AND THEN WE'RE GONNA DO OUR BEST TO KEEP TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS AWAKE FR..." (cheering at intro)...

Me too -- luckily they set the bar a bit lower than I thought they would. Now just play some of those soundchecked songs from last night...

But Bonnaroo wasn't really hyped at all. Everyone was saying it was gonna be Lollapalooza '07 #2. I'll admit that setlist wise there were a few others that were better, but I'll go out on a limb and say it was the best possible set you could expect at a FESTIVAL for Christ's sake. In fact it's probably the best festival set they've ever done. That was the biggest turnout they've ever had for a headliner at Bonnaroo and and it's hard to beat that kind of feeling of 70,000 people all focused on the same thing.
