If you have a phone with a replaceble battery, (no Iphones) then go to ebay and you can buy extra batterries for like $2 a piece...0

Found a emergency charger on eBay for $2.95.... you can buy them at your local walMart for under $10... I am going to get me one... not a full charger but will help if you need a little juice...

I have a mofie battery pack for my iphone.. It gives it another full charge when you run out of battery.. It did cost $99 bucks but totally worth it for sports arenas and concerts.
On another note, wonder if Alpine would let me bring a generator into the concert.. Could charge tons of phones for a fee.  :shock:Seen PJ 21 times live from 1994-20190 -
81 Needing a ride to Forest Hills and a ounce of weed. Please inquire within. Thanks. Or not. Posts: 58,276so i went to the mccartney concert sunday at wrigley
left the house about 5:15pm
took a few pics, sent a few texts, made a call (all before the show started, put the phone in my pocket for the show)
got home about 1am
still had about 50%+ battery
gf was on the same schedule, although she sent a few more texts, took more pics, and even did some video work during the show (to my dismay). listened to some music on the way home. she still had 25%+ charge
:P
it can be done.81 is now off the air

You seem to respond sarcastically and negatively to most posts I make. I see that you've told someone on this thread to 'get off their high horse' for not wanting these stations to be present at the festival, and unless I've misread this post, with cynicism and 'snark' towards me for saying that a festival having these stations in place is a good thing. If you have an opinion, just come out and say it, but I'm not sure why you need to make your point by belittling or mocking the voice of others.
Edit: I was hasty in this post. I just reread our few correspondences and think that I just misinterpreted your e-tone... If you would disregard this post I would appreciate it, I'm sorry.Post edited by benjs on'05 - TO, '06 - TO 1, '08 - NYC 1 & 2, '09 - TO, Chi 1 & 2, '10 - Buffalo, NYC 1 & 2, '11 - TO 1 & 2, Hamilton, '13 - Buffalo, Brooklyn 1 & 2, '15 - Global Citizen, '16 - TO 1 & 2, Chi 2

I'm sorry that you took my post as being confrontational but you do see who the OP is of this thread correct? And have you read the thread? I'm the biggest proponent of this idea.0 -

Not a big deal. I've given up on the idea. If they have something it would be great. But at this point I don't think if it's already been planned in it's not going to happen. Too bad because I plan on taking a bunch of pictures so whatever happens happens.0 -
I wonder how people survived at concerts before cell phones were invented???
Surely there were concerts before 1997.

HEHEHEHE!
They brought cameras and microcassette recorders that had interchangeable batteries and now those items are wrapped up into one little sweet device. Unfortunately my phone does not have an interchangeable battery. Don't get me started!!!

It's a little pricey, but I'm able to bring 2 iPhones from 0%-100% several times.
It works with other phones as well.
