This process is the most ludicrous, f'ed up process I have ever dealt with. They know people will mob the site around ticket time but they do nothing. I know this site isn't made to handle 1300 people trying to buy tickets. But if that the case, don't hold the presale on this website. And when you told us in one of the newsletters that you fixed the issues for the PJ20 stuff and it wasn't fixed. That was frustrating beyond belief. Especially since you could offer up no solace other than a weak apology to people who got screwed over.
Issue two: Merchandising
I love my merchandise, and I buy a lot of stuff on here. But recently I have found a lot of things that had discouraged me buying anything from the website. The delayed of my UKe Vinyl plus all the other things I ordered with it only to find all three being sold at the EV shows. That is total bs. We preorder things so you know how many to produce so you can get an accurate count before the release date. How ere there not enough produced when you knew how many people wanted? This just make absolutely no sense. Especially when you collect our money at the time of purchase and not at the time of shipment. This has pissed me off a lot. And when I email shipping about this I got a rude answer back. I understand a lot of people have asked about this but you should post some sort of news instead of being secretive and not telling anyone. The next merchandising issue that really bothers me is that these presales hold no value. I never get my merchandise before the general public, it's never a special edition, and it almost always costs more then when I find it physically in the store. How is that possible?!?!?! I'm the one with the membership fees, and I'm buying right from the source. I am specifically referring to the re releases of TEN, VS, and VITALOGY.
Issued three: Terrible customer service
I touched upon this in my last issue but I'd like to reiterate it. The band is so secretive about everything they do. It's stupid, they never want you to know what they are doing or what they have in store. Other bands update you on their every move. With a fan base as ravenous as this, they should not keep us in the dark so much about certain things. Then people would stop speculating stupid things so much. Also, I work in sales, and if I treated my customers like this before and after a sale I would never have a repeat customer. This website/band/club has little to no customer loyalty. The only loyalty they have is your fan club number. Which should barely be considered loyalty.
There is many more issues I want to go over but I doubt most people will read or care about this and I want to stick to the topic on hand about poor customer service relating to the purchasing of tickets and merchandise. I feel like I am wasting my time though saying much of this because as people said before NOTHING will ever change. I doubt Eddie could give a shit how we feel about these issues (I feel like Mike would be more understanding lol) and I know the moderators of this website definitely don't give a shit because they run so many other bands websites. I just wish that they would actually take a look into how terrible things are sometimes around here and open an ear. I'm not saying they completely change their process or style, but they can definitely tweet stuff for the die hards.

The 10c pre-orders for Backspacer were SUPPOSED to eventually be followed up with a link to downloadable bootlegs... Like everyone who purchased from stores got.
I don't think that they are waiting for more product to arrive in this circumstance.

as for the thread theme and merch orders.,i kinda buy stuff from 10c cos so far,i have great service,good communication,even not working office hours,i wanna support my favorites band fan club,and not other sellers,my stuff always arrive ,never lost anything and when Santos explain why it takes 4-8 weeks to arrive,i accept it..i prefer to arrive late and be sure that will arrive than arrive earlier but some lost in the way.

on the positive side I returned my CD and DVD and received a full refund yesterday for 32.48$ only cost me $2.73 to send it back. lesson learned.0

1) They tried, but yes it ultimately didn't work. They were confident it was going to work and would have if there wasn't a bug in the software.
2) I read everything you read and yes you can cancel orders. I cancelled my blu-ray order when I found out Best Buy had it for a month before us.

I don't think it's a surprise to anyone that Ed has his own record for sale at his solo shows. People's beef - and the crux of the whole argument here - is that there are plenty of copies to sell at his shows to anyone who wants to walk up and buy one, while people who preordered and pre-paid are waiting on the record a month after it's release because "we have to wait for more supplies from the pressing plant." It's only a shortage of supplies because it was decided that it was more important (profitable) to sell copies of the record that they had in hand to new customers and put loyal, paid-up fans on the back burner and make them wait even longer. Not cool. And the biggest follow up issue to that is the lack of communication. We just found out a couple of days ago about a screw up at the pressing plant, thus the even longer delay. Why couldn't that message be openly relayed with a sticky thread? Keep us in the loop and reward our loyalty. I think we pay for that much, at least.

Do you want them to wave a magic wand and have pallets of Ed's record to appear on their loading dock? We get it, the item has been delayed. This isn't the 10 Clubs fault. It's not like they have a ton of them and are sitting on the boxes having a laugh at our expense. They are sending them out as they get them. It's not like you are never going to get it. They sent you the mp3's for goodness sakes.

I had emailed 10 club asking them to credit the difference and honoring the Best Buy coupons. They responded that I could return any unopened items for a refund. The next day when my package arrived, I just changed the addresses on that envelope and took it straight to the post office. I mailed it back on June 1st received a credit on June 27th. May I ask what address you used and did you just send it back or did you have email correspondance as well?
It wasnt that big of deal to save 16$ to me, I always thought I was doing the right thing by ordering from 10 club. I would rather have money going directly to supporting the band than a big box store. You used to get things a few days before release or an exclusive extra. Now you get it after the general public, you get to pay more (double for this) and no extras.
This has shown me they would rather I buy things from a big box store rather than preorder. I will be in the group that "tries" to order tickets only.0 -
