I absolutely love 10C and I can't say too many good things about them.
I pay my fee just to comment and read on here, for ticket lotteries, for the goods section and the 'free' stuff that comes with subscription.

Forum = great. fast, comprehensive, well-managed.
Lotteries = I haven't been disappointed, excellent

Goods = generally good but I am disappointed about not getting my vinyl yet, when it's gone from my credit card. However, I did appreciate the mp3 files they sent out, which was a nice addition. I haven't actually listened to them as I want to hear it on my vinyl first time around, but they will be fun in the future. By the way, is it anything different form the one in the shops? Any extras?

Free stuff = I got a damaged Xmas single 6 months late last year, which I couldn't listen to but didn't bother sending back. And, no issue of Deep yet this year. And only one issue a year anyway. Those two little things are cool and fun and they are the things that make the big difference for me. Getting an Xmas single 6 months late just seems a bit lacklustre from 10C, like they don't wanna do it but know it has been going so long that they should. And Deep could be a couple of issues a year, even if it looks less professional, etc. It'd be nice to feel we are getting something that not everyone can read on the net.

As I said, I love this place but I don't want to feel like a customer, I want to feel like a friend and supporter of the band and sometimes it is the little things that ruin that illusion. But I know that when they try hard they do a great job and make a lot of people happy.

Still no Uke Songs in SoCal. though both of my friends who live in town received theirs almost a month ago(note: i placed my order well before them)

agree. i always ordered vinyl because it was the only place to get it but now i can go to best buy and get it a month (at least) earlier. same for the dvd. i thought the songbook would be exclusive to 10c so i made 1 order for everything. won't do it again.

Which Best buy has the vinyl?

i'm sure they'll have it before i do...just like the cd, dvd and blu ray. just like target had the backspace vinyl before i did.

Actually, I'm not mad about that really, I just mentioned it. It just seemed to me that a 7" with a picture of Santa Claus and the words 'holiday single' might have something to do with yuletide. My mistake!

I'd still like more copies of Deep, though. I love reading about the band in that format rather than on the net.

And, you can say that I'm asking too much here but I think the PJ20 promo stickers is something that could be sent out as a freebie for 10C members, with the Xmas single for example, rather than being a paid item in the goods section. It seems like good marketing getting as many of those out there as possible and only good business selling them.

You get a free PJ20 sticker with any order from the Goods section. The next issue of deep is in production and will be out sometime this summer as is the record.

I completely agree with everything said here. We all love this band so much and obviously demand a lot from both the band and the management that runs the band. This is probably one of the most demanding fan bases amongst any band. It has to be very stressful to run this type of ship.

But with that being said, there are many things that are just so messed up around here that never get address or resolved.

Issue one: Ticket buying.
This process is the most ludicrous, f'ed up process I have ever dealt with. They know people will mob the site around ticket time but they do nothing. I know this site isn't made to handle 1300 people trying to buy tickets. But if that the case, don't hold the presale on this website. And when you told us in one of the newsletters that you fixed the issues for the PJ20 stuff and it wasn't fixed. That was frustrating beyond belief. Especially since you could offer up no solace other than a weak apology to people who got screwed over.

Issue two: Merchandising
I love my merchandise, and I buy a lot of stuff on here. But recently I have found a lot of things that had discouraged me buying anything from the website. The delayed of my UKe Vinyl plus all the other things I ordered with it only to find all three being sold at the EV shows. That is total bs. We preorder things so you know how many to produce so you can get an accurate count before the release date. How ere there not enough produced when you knew how many people wanted? This just make absolutely no sense. Especially when you collect our money at the time of purchase and not at the time of shipment. This has pissed me off a lot. And when I email shipping about this I got a rude answer back. I understand a lot of people have asked about this but you should post some sort of news instead of being secretive and not telling anyone. The next merchandising issue that really bothers me is that these presales hold no value. I never get my merchandise before the general public, it's never a special edition, and it almost always costs more then when I find it physically in the store. How is that possible?!?!?! I'm the one with the membership fees, and I'm buying right from the source. I am specifically referring to the re releases of TEN, VS, and VITALOGY.

Issued three: Terrible customer service
I touched upon this in my last issue but I'd like to reiterate it. The band is so secretive about everything they do. It's stupid, they never want you to know what they are doing or what they have in store. Other bands update you on their every move. With a fan base as ravenous as this, they should not keep us in the dark so much about certain things. Then people would stop speculating stupid things so much. Also, I work in sales, and if I treated my customers like this before and after a sale I would never have a repeat customer. This website/band/club has little to no customer loyalty. The only loyalty they have is your fan club number. Which should barely be considered loyalty.

There is many more issues I want to go over but I doubt most people will read or care about this and I want to stick to the topic on hand about poor customer service relating to the purchasing of tickets and merchandise. I feel like I am wasting my time though saying much of this because as people said before NOTHING will ever change. I doubt Eddie could give a shit how we feel about these issues (I feel like Mike would be more understanding lol) and I know the moderators of this website definitely don't give a shit because they run so many other bands websites. I just wish that they would actually take a look into how terrible things are sometimes around here and open an ear. I'm not saying they completely change their process or style, but they can definitely tweet stuff for the die hards.
