I posted some of my oil paintings .... let me know if I did this right :lol: kind of a computer dumb ass!

    Very nice.
    Not only the Eddie portraits ( interesting in seeing the photographs below the work )
    but I really like the sandunes and crab-grassey palms,
    along with the sea and lighthouse.

    Nice work! I always wished I could paint. I find it to be an amazing talent.
    All are very good. Especially liked the one of Ed with the hat and piercing blue eyes and the b/w sitting with the coat hanger.
    I am a huge fan of John Lennon and have a b/w painting of him over my fireplace. The artist used metallic silver for his glasses and to create highlights in his hair. It is painted on a 3x5 piece of plywood. It is an incredible piece of art. His eyes follow you no matter what side of the room you view it from. Just thought I'd share this in case it gave you some inspiration to try something different than canvas.

    That sounds incredible! I have a few John Lennon pics but haven't attempted painting him yet. My dad paints on slate which is pretty cool. Thanks for your post :D take care

    I just googled Eddie and this photograph came up so I painted it :D I really wanted to tackle the pose and furrowed brow. Thanks for the interest.
