water rings, lovely things

out-of-body, weightless-in-water
it's the best time to dream
floating there, light as air
at the perfect temperature,
one would stay until twenty raisins say,
"It's time to get out!"
drifting on the idea of communion with the center
surprised again (!), by something possible
water two inches away from my fuzzy eyes,
I can stare at the bottom and my shadow hands
move them one way, they are merely black puppets
move them on the surface, sparkling-silver-white circles take their place!
shimmering bubbles for those moments and then
they return as silhouettes
like infant company until I close my eyes again
