TAILGATE OUR ASSES OFF SATURDAY AFTERNOON"!!!!!!!!!!

So I've been asked how many people usually tailgate at Alpine before a show? My reply was almost everybody. lol
Grills glowing all over the place and yummy food being made. Everybody enjoying the day with friends and looking forward to a great show. Bringing a subway sub and a coke just won't do it the whole day. So a few friends and I are planning on meeting up before and then all drive into Alpine together so we can park all close by. Then bust out the grills, chips, drinks, whatever else that is legal for the most part and enjoy the whole day.
We have no plans to head in early to see the other bands. Can do that Sunday but Saturday is just a laid back tailgate day. Anybody else wants to join in the fun I thought I would post it here. Where to meet up should be simple since many out of town people are staying close to Alpine. There are plenty of Walmart stores and other places around if you wanna pick something up and join in the fun.
UPDATE**** From what I can see there's gonna be at least 3 or 4 grills maybe more. I'll have one, Speedy, mamasan23 and whoever else. I'll have some extra charcoal if others need some. I'm not touching propane grills. I don't use charcoal fuel useI use paper and starts the coals right up. No taste of fuel on the food and its quick and easy. But you can bring what you want or nothing. There is word of some kegs of Spotted Cow maybe showing up. I think for that maybe some can throw in a couple bucks per person and enjoy. I'll have a cooler and many will too. Were meeting up at the Super 8 in Delavan where many of you are staying at. More updates to come. Looking forward to this.
If you are not staying where we are leaving will make sure you find us in the Alpine parking lots.
Ok so the plan is to meet up at the Super 8 hotel in Delavan, WI where many are staying. Leave no later then noon and be inside the lots by 1pm. That's the ideal time so will see how that works. hehe We should have maybe 20 to 30 cars together maybe more maybe less. Once were parked the setup will take place and we should have the grills going soon. If you can't make it or are not staying at the Super 8 and you wanna meet up with us please do. Pm me or Speedy and will get yr number or give you our numbers so you can call us and find us. We should have some flags or a banner, will have something to find us. I'm so looking forward to this and I think many of you are also.

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

hypothetically, let's say you're a group of strapping young men driving 14 hours from philadelphia to east troy and staying in a hotel about 10 minutes from alpine valley. where would you go to grab tailgate material (burgers, beer, ice, etc)? Any local grocers or supermarkets?Follow the ageless tide.

Ohhhh goodness plenty of places to get stuff. Plenty of grocery stores near you I wouoldn't doubt it. Beer well this is wisconsin and we sell it everywhere. It's a shock at first for some from out of state. Pick and Save, Sentry Foods, Piggly Wiggly, Sendiks Food Stores are all good local grrocery stores. Cheap decent lawn chairs maybe put down on your list. Walgreens or Walmart or even Target stores will have them.0 -
I plan on buying a cheap Charcoal grill and grilling out for sure. Steaks, Burgers, Brats, and BOOZE! Group of 6. See yall in the lot.0
