Hilton Milwaukee City Center

My friend and I are flying in from New Brunswick Canada on Friday night and staying at HIlton Milwuakee, who else is staying there?

Also anyone have any recommendations about how to get from the airport to the the hotel that night and Monday morning? I'm thinking a cab would cost a fortune, I've called the hotel and airport about their shuttle service and they keep hooking me up with the local bus service which I'm not sure if that would work or how often it runs etc..
