Music On Vinyl ... VS.
Thought this was weird !! ... sense they just released it again for RSD 2011
VS - MOVLP282
Pearl Jam
'Vs.' is Pearl Jam's second studio album, originally released in 1993.
After a relentless touring schedule in support of their debut album 'Ten', Pearl Jam faced the challenge of following up the commercial success of its debut.
Even though the band decided to scale back its commercial efforts for' Vs.', including declining to produce music videos for any of the album's singles, 'Vs.' set the record for most copies of an album sold in its first week, a record it held for five years.
'Vs.' features a rawer and more aggressive sound compared with the band's previous release.
On the album one can find classics like the upbeat 'Rearviewmirror' and 'Dissident' as well as soaring ballads like 'Daughter', 'Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In a Small Town' and 'Indifference'.
It was the band's first collaboration with long time producer Brendan O'Brien.
Music on Vinyl now rereleases this classic album on 180 grams audiophile vinyl, completely remastered and with an insert.

Yes! Does anyone have this version yet ... and can answer these questions for us :?
I have two copies of the original Vs LP from when it was released, I remember in 1993 it came out on vinyl about 2 weeks before it was released on CD and the vinyl version has/had this exact cover on it, the sheep doesn't have his face being forced/shoved into the fence.

I'm confused. Wouldn't the MOV version be the same one 10club, What Records and many other record stores today are selling?
what blip is that? i read in the other thread that there was a glitch too, but i have never picked up on it.
I haven't heard of this before.
I think I might have to
check out that other thread...
y'know, the far inferior one to this one!
Cheers.
1993 US = Z 53136
2011 RSD = 88697843131-JK1 (which is actually the same # as what is included in the super deluxe box)
2011 MOV = MOVLP282 (Barcode is 8713748981563, which is different from the 2011 RSD also)
So they are different, but I think the MOV is taken from the Remastered version, instead of original tapes.
No PJ albums are taken from tape. They're digital files converted from tape.
to shay !!

plus MOV titles are always more expensive in the USA cause of the Import ! We all know Amazon is just about giving these way . !!
The only thing i seen that i liked is that black mark is not on the Cover
They needed to do one of the different cover for this title.. to make it stand out and desirable but after a reissue just came out its not moving very many copy's .
