man, such a diverse party. even the lady asking the question on immagration was a white naturalized citizen from a european country i think.

    The look on George's face there is priceless. It's that "what the fuck did I get myself into?" look.

    That said... yes, he had a couple of black people in his cabinet and one of them was actually not a turn-brain.

    But a hand-selected cabinet isn't the same as the supporters. Take a look at the Republican convention and Tea Party rallies... you'll see a very white sea looking back at you. White, Christian and kinda uptight. Not a lot of diversity in the voting block. Just how it is.

    actually you don't know if they are all Christian and uptight. that's actually your own stereotype of them. i personally don't believe that its fair to blame the party (any party) for the people who follow them.

    all Republicans are not white old men. After Obama pretty much has done nothing but spend money, make the US look weak and ignorant, and break just about all his campaign promises, why wouldn't people be looking at alternatives?

    Its also important to look at what party controlled the house and senate, not just who was in the oval office.

    To get back to the topic, I don't understand why does it matter how many black people were at the debate. When as a country can we start to be blind to one's race, religion, sexual orientation? Obviously, not any time soon.
