my first uke riff - updated

I bought a cheap uke a week ago (my first ever instrument) and I've made decent progress..
anyways this is the first real riff thing that I've created:

    not bad for just starting out but do yourself a favor and get yourself a better uke. it will sound better stay in tune longer and make you wanna play more. the #1 thing for anybody learning is to have a decent quality instrument to start with so you wont get fustrated by the limitations of your uke ...also check out ukuleleunderground.com great tips on there and some free lessons...keep on rockin out it takes a real man to play a pink uke and you have a awesome bird that seems to dig the jumping flea

    sounds good def for just starting,the opening cord your playing sounds like the begining to everlong(to me away)but non the less good job and all the best kevin

    Cool man. My first uke riff I wrote about eight years ago and just about a year ago wrote lyrics as a lullaby to my son. It's on Myspace.com/Spectreville and it's called Perfect Dream. It's an older recording of it, but its only been updated vocally since.
