I have 8 PJ show posters and am wondering if it better to tape them up or use thumb tacks?

wow. you guys are new to this.

dont tape or thumb tack. EVER
  • I just had one framed. It cost $52, it doesn't have the UV glass (b/c that is pricey), but I got a really nice frame that goes great with my decor and acid free matte for that price at a chain hobby store. You can go cheaper, I think if you catch them at one of those stores on sale for half price, you can easily get a frame for $22 with glass. I put my St. Louis poster in one of those, it looks nice, but it doesn't have a matte to save on price.
    Hearts and thoughts they fade....
    fade away...

I am at peace with my lust.....for Eddie.

sweet jebus, when i started collecting gig show prints I got a couple prints drymounted (15 years ago) and i am so pissed i didn't know better. :)

OP, if some of your prints happen to be standard sized (18x24 or 12x18 etc) you can settle for a nice $20 frame from aaron brothers. If the dimensions are off, you need to figure out something else and others can chime in for a low key way to display that won't cost a lot and wont ruin your prints with thumb tack holes

    or tape :o

Frame em!! but not permanent, let them float in the frame..

Just wet the back of the poster and stick it to the wall.

    Works every time.

The cheap way to do it without puncturing the poster, is to attach it to cardboard/matte board with binder clips along the edge...Mount board&poster to wall with L-brackets, screwed into wall. (Brackets go around edge of board, not through).
