I have been saying this all along. In a venue this size, no one has to worry about getting in the door. Lawn seats will be given out for close to free in the weeks before the show.
No doubt people will be eating their lawn tickets.....

$100 it doesn't sell out. People were so worried about getting tickets. If I didn't get reserved/GA, no shot I was going for GA/GA.
Plus people had no choice but to buy those lawn seats in pairs....
So if they got lucky today and scored a nice single for both days.....Its still gonna suck cuz they wont be able to get rid of those lawn seats.....
    Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

But they already did the city thing with Lollapalooza 2007. As someone else said, they know these shows are for their fans. similar to the spectrum shows in 2009. In my opinion playing a place like Alpine Valley will give them the chance to break out some odd ball songs. Maybe an Aye davinita or hopefully Who You Are.

Is someone looking for Aye Davanita?

Still better than eating the lawn like a billy goat, though.

270$ for GA/GA online plus "convienience fees" and porking err... I mean parking.

    252$ from a 10C member face value for GA/GA.

seems like a no brainer. All 10C tix sold at face value should go first.

Plus the days/weeks before will see massive runs for tix.

I think 2000-5000 people will be outside listening. MHO

    huh?

the draw isn't there, it is pearl jam and a bunch of people that the average person would give two shits about.

I suspect there will be some unannounced random guest on the stage but the bill is not set up to sell tickets

Hrm. I wonder why I can't pull up any seats on Livenation? I suppose it might not be sold out... but it certainly might.

And let me tell you - when you ask a Chicago/Milwaukee kid for $70 to see QotSA/Strokes/Pearl Jam, why wouldn't they say yes? I'd take that bill for seventy bucks in a heartbeat.
Is it too much to ask for a full-blown Temple of the Dog set? Probably.
