Should be interesting to see just how many people end up eating their lawn seats...
Now that they picked up seats from ticketmaster....

Might not be all that easy to unload those lawn seats....
Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

They would be easy to unload if people sold them for 40 bucks per ticket, but most people probably won't do that so tickets will be eaten.

I have been saying this all along. In a venue this size, no one has to worry about getting in the door. Lawn seats will be given out for close to free in the weeks before the show.
  • Please everyone, eat those lawn seats! I have the double lawn package & want lots of room at the front of the lawn when they play Who You Are.

A lot of people are eating their words for believing that this show would draw a hundred thousand people (or some huge number) and that this venue wouldn't be big enough. The venue was the right size for the show Pearl Jam wanted to put on. Keeps out the fairweather fans that need for there to be a big city around so they can do other stuff.

There's nothing wrong with that ;)

270$ for GA/GA online plus "convienience fees" and porking err... I mean parking.

    252$ from a 10C member face value for GA/GA.

seems like a no brainer. All 10C tix sold at face value should go first.

Plus the days/weeks before will see massive runs for tix.

I think 2000-5000 people will be outside listening. MHO

It may keep out the fair weather fans, but in my eyes it would have been very cool to see Pearl Jam do this in a Grant Park type of venue. If it was in the middle of a city, I think it would have been very cool to see them play in front of 40 or 50K people (just my guess on what they would draw in that situation, who knows really)

But they already did the city thing with Lollapalooza 2007. As someone else said, they know these shows are for their fans. similar to the spectrum shows in 2009. In my opinion playing a place like Alpine Valley will give them the chance to break out some odd ball songs. Maybe an Aye davinita or hopefully Who You Are.

Yeah but Lollapalooza wasn't PJ20, this is their festival, no matter where it was located they could have played long rarity filled, amazing sets. Regardless, PJ20 will be amazing at Alpine Valley, there is no doubting that.

$100 it doesn't sell out. People were so worried about getting tickets. If I didn't get reserved/GA, no shot I was going for GA/GA.
