Here's the first round of PJ Mad Libs:

"I told ya... you can (verb) into my (noun) for $5 per 15 minutes."

    ....that's what she said.

    sorry, couldn't help it.

Can't you just make sure you're fully charged and turn off all of your battery draining features beforehand? I don't see how maining a charge for 12 hours is that difficult.[/quote]

Simple as a few wireless routers placed around the venue. Again not too difficult. There is nothing wrong with plugging in guys and using technolgy. I'm sure everyone that somehow thinks I'm weird for this didn't just get the Eddie Bluray disc right. I'm sure you got the DVD...or better yet the VHS version or maybe beta. Maybe you got it in book form or will just wait for the elders of your tribe to describe his tour to you? I'm sure you have no digital music. Everything is on vinyl and it's played by handcranked record player. Or perhaps your village just sings PJ songs at the town meetings on Saturday evenings.

Just give us some wifi and charge stations please and thank you.

And some robot butlers too while you're at it ten club. Not too much to ask.

actually, i didn't get the blue ray, dvd and i'm not waiting for anything else.

just saying, my phone will last all day when left to it's own device. i'm at a concert, i don't need to be on the internet. i prefer to drink, toke and live in the moment. i have no fear that my phone will be dead by the end of the show resulting in my loss of communication ability.

Its not, bit some poeple love to record cell phone vids, text pics and post to facebook during a show vs being in the moment. Sometimes i miss the 80's
if that's how someone has fun it's their prerogative. maybe they like sharing a moment with a friend or family member who couldn't be there. and my cell phone is shit and can't hold a charge for that long because it's a retarded phone that i can't turn off because it's broken and i can't get a new one until the contract is up. so i would greatly appreciate a charger station just in case i need my cell phone for something or my mom wants to check up on me or something. it really isn't that big a deal to ask for a charge station/hot spot if it's feasible. if you don't want to use it, don't use it. people should be able to have fun the way they want to without someone else telling them what's the "right way" to do it.

you can get a new to you used cell phone for any carrier on ebay. ;)

right way is not taking vids while standing in front of me. most annoying thing outside of surfing at the movies. that's all i'm saying. enjoy the moment, than share discuss that moment after you get home. people today are just too tied up with facebook, twitter and instant sharing that they forget to see what is going on.

Seriously, I agree with you 81. Well said. I just can't take my phone with me to movies and social functions. I feel it's very poor etiquette. I like to pay attention to the people I am sharing the time with.

What will be the next hotly-contested PJ20 topic?

    My suggestion:

What qualifies as sensible footwear?, and, should the decision be based on style or comfort?

Very well stated. But when you are out in the middle of Wisconsin and you can't find the group you came with ten, twelve, fourteen hours before because your phone died...

Didn't your parents teach you anything? What did you do when you were a little kid and wandered at an amusement park?

I'll give you a hint...the conversation usually starts like this....

    Mom: Where are you going?
Child: I want to go ride the Twister!
Mom: Ok, well if you get lost, ...

If you can't finish this conversation, then yes, you're in trouble.

Really??? Cant believe this request went as far as it did...it's not like I requested a new road to be built or something. PJ20 will be about 40,000 people give or take...I come from Utica NY which is about 40,000 give or take and there are wifi hotspots there and public places to charge devices. Save your baby talk.

 Just wondering a couple of things...seriously not being a smart-ass. Maybe you can email about it...

It is possible to get a back up battery for your phone and charge both prior to show time, so you only have to carry the extra battery into the show?

Also, is it possible they might already have decided to set up hotspots, besides 81's tent  , as PJ20 is such a big event and they will need communicate between event staff and such?

i agree with the OP, charging stations would be great. my phone is my main source of photo taking, and having it die would be sad! and of course, staying connected with my group while there.

however, IF there are charging stations...i assume they will be in full use and hard to grab a spot, and do i really want to wait around for my phone to grab a charge?

the extra battery is a GREAT idea, thanks for the reminder. i keep meaning to get one, anyway, because my smart phone is super dumb at holding a charge sometimes!

for a lot of phones you can buy an over sized battery. for example, my battery is 1500mA, but there is a 2600mA battery that can be had for a few bucks.

iPhone doesn't have a removable battery.
