Cute as a button, he is too
His head is barely to my knee
Always looking up to me
Agile like a trapeze artist
Fights like a pugilist
Kisses and love and of course a lap
Damn dog seems in a constant nap
Him and I like to howl along
Then he breaks out one of his poodle songs
Then when it's time for bed
He jumps up and on to lay his head
Nestles his little body right next to mine
Safety while he sleeps for my little guy
