I've had trouble getting any good pictures of the venue and ended up going to Bing Maps and piecing this image together using screen shots. Gives you a little more perspective and idea of the lay of the land. See you there!!

I've seen them there everytime they've played there. I've never been on he "lawn" but from what I can remember, it's not flat.
What is amazing is being in the pavilion and looking back and seeing people all the way up to the sky. At least that's what I remember about the 1998 show. Great venue.Like a word misplaced...nothing said...what a waste0 -

The perspective makes it difficult to see the contour of the land but this is more for people to see where everything will be and give you an overview of the venue. Just thought some would appreciate it if they hadn't seen it before.SPEEDY MCCREADY wrote:That lawn IS FAR from FLAT!!!! heheheh

It is! It makes it look pretty small. It's a LONG, STEEP walk up that damn hill when the show's over! Best venue I've seen them at after Soldier Field!Like a word misplaced...nothing said...what a waste0 -

you can actually see some perspective if you look at the middle things and how they're smaller than the ones near the entrance if you zoom. It looks like a big hole.Boston 5/17/10

That is exactly where I was for the Icebowl. Almost dead center and at the very bottom of the hill. GREAT VIEW! Even if you are further up on the hill it is not bad. I have sat further up for Ozzfest when it wasn't as dire for me to be closer.0 -

Not visable in this image. It'd be to the upper left as you view the picture out of frame.BA256233 wrote:Nice thanks for posting. Where is Alpine Valley Resort?

One other quick note, in 2003 the large green building where the Expo is was also where you went to get your Ten Club tickets. I would imagine that it would be the same this time as well. The nice thing was that you went into the building to get your tickets and you came out on the other side already inside the venue. You really didn't need to wait!0

Anyone know what the little fenced in areas are that are to the right of the GA seating area? They almost look like private boxes or something like that. Any previous show goers know what these are?0

Another question... Do you know where the other two stages are supossed to be placed? If the entrance is so close from the lawn area, it doesn't seem to be enough space...Hey Foxymophandlemama, That's Me -> Stupid Mop -> Estúpida Fregona -> www.estupidafregona.net0 -
i think 10c said the smaller stages would be at the entranceRon: I just don't feel like going out tonight
