The info for the Chicago shuttle on Pj20 states...

Bus Leaves at 9am for estimated arrival time of 11:30pm
This shuttle stop is at Laz Parking (Millennium Park) which is located at 5 South Columbus Dr. Chicago, IL 60601.

However in the goods section it states,

Bus Leaves at 10am for estimated arrival time of 12:30pm
This shuttle stop is at the System Parking Lot located at 1840 North Clybourn Ave, Chicago, IL 60614..

Anyone have any idea which is correct?

The two locations in Milwaukee are within 8-9 blocks of each other. I booked the Hilton City Center since it is in between the 2 so i will still be within walking distance.

Hope the information on pj20 is the right one...only 3 blocks from my apartment!

Frustrating thing is that the info in the goods section is what was originally posted on Pj20 and on the back of that I booked a hostel close to that location, now it seems it has changed and I will have to travel to catch the shuttle... though I'm coming from The UK, so I guess an extra 5 miles won't hurt...

looking the whole picture, I know PJ20 is going to be an amazing experience but 10C honestly this again shows a little bit of disorganization... it does not matter if is 5, 4, 3 or mile of difference, the info should be ONLY ONE... I love this band but 10C sometimes is not at the band's level... and that is sad!!!

Well that sucks. I bought the Milwaukee shuttle for both days and based on the location listed on PJ20.com, booked my hotel within very close proximity to the Shuttle pick up point. And while I can't really complain because I actually got tickets, the discrepancy is unfortunate. I know it's just a few blocks and I can handle that. It'd be really nice to get a straight answer here.

this seems like it should be a pretty quick answer:

    milwaukee shuttle, is it here:

Ampco Parking Lot which is located at 532 N. Plankinton Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53203, and between Clybourn St. and Michigan St. (as stated on the tickets/shuttle page)

    OR here:

Central Parking System located at 1128 North 6th St. Milwaukee, WI 53203. (as stated on the /store page)

    thanks!

I hope it stay at the original location that was posted. The hotel I booked is only 0.2 miles from there. The new location is not within walking distance. Grr.

Shot the people with the shuttle info an e-mail. We'll get to the bottom of this mess. The lower $40 ticket price may be explained by the new location.

Yeah, I'm glad I didn't book my hotel in Chicago yet, because I was hoping to find a place within walking distance to the shuttle pick up location... I emailed pearljamtravel@cidentertainment.com this evening asking for clarification, and will post here if I get a reply before the website is updated....

Yeah, the Milwaukee stops are just a few blocks from each other, so it shouldn't be too much of a pain in the ass either way. Then again, I'm a New Yorker, and we walk everywhere.

And for Chicago folks, unless you booked a room at an advance purchase rate, you can find accommodations closer to the actual stop (wherever that winds up being) and cancel the reservations at the place you originally booked if you'd rather walk than take the el train.

  • Question. The shuttle pass. Thats PER person right? So for me and my ticket buddy to go we'd have to pay $120 to get from chicago to AV? and $100 from milwaukee to AV? Am I interpretting that correctly?

Starting to think that gas plus parking may be cheaper even if it's a pain in the ass to get out and one of us can't drink (neither of us drinks at concerts anyways)...if we can get a group of 4 in a vehicle..even better.

hey mel, if you're staying in chicago and thinking of driving to Alpine, let me know...as i'm hesitant to spend that much on the shuttle.

Maybe if you were going by yourself the shuttle might be a decent idea. But if you are going with at least one other person, it would be way cheaper to even rent a car and pay to park. Plus it give you the flexibility to come and go as you please.

I do noticed that the Chicago shuttle info on PJ20 was the same as on the goods page (Clybourn), but changed afterwards, leading me to think that the correct location is @ Millennium Park. In any case, booking a hotel in/around the loop and taking the red/brown line should do it - only may take a little early breakfast :)

Travelling alone and drinking some beers, I guess I like my shuttle better...

This is very good news for me. I hope that's the case. I booked my hotel at the Marriot Courtyard Milwaukee Downtown - 300 West Michigan Street, Milwaukee, WI. 53203. Just around the corner from
532 N. Plankinton Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53203. Good deal. :D
