How much I want, need and would really like to see the PJ20 shows in Alpine Valley....just can't :roll:

so who else wants to go but can't?

....maybe the Pearl jam Gods will lead me there in September

    It's not looking good. The holiday weekend doesn't work for any of my buddies and it's also an all around bad weekend for me. It's looking like about a 10% chance that I make it. It would take some stellar last minute additions to the lineup to make it a "can't miss" show... but I'm not one for road tripping several hours by myself and sitting through a concert all by myself without a good friend to share the experience with.

    also it does suck....but its a concert...2 great ones , but their will be other shows

    i have no interest in the festival deal so that doesn't bother me ...in my mind iam just missing 2 special shows ...but i know i will see more and i feel blessed to have seen so many special ones already....it makes it easier for me

    I might be going.....And believe me, it is absolutely killing me to say "maybe" in stead of "definitely going, and bringing all of my friends and family".

    My wife has the 10C under her name (birthday present gone wrong) even tho i'm the fan....She's definitely not going to PJ20.....Which means i'm going Ticketmaster route....and most likely traveling alone. While that's great and all, the thought of spending 2 days there with nobody to hang out/drink/etc.etc. with definitely bums me out enough to wonder if it's really worth it....

    Ah well, at least shes going to see Ed in Detroit with me!

    I really do like the bill, tho i may be alone in that. Big fan of Jason Lytle, Joseph Arthur, and Queens, decent Strokes fan, and decent Finn fan. So overall, i'm probably about the happiest guy on the board for this bill....

    The list of who is not going will increase soon. I plan on going but I feel like it will be tough to get tickets for this one.

    I have decided tonight I am not going. I am buying a house and after figuring the cost of getting to WI, tickets, and hotel, I realized I could have bought a couch with that money. I guess the last 20 years has made a grown up out of me. I will be undoubtedly be questioning my decision come Labor Day weekend, but I will question it on a comfortable couch and wait for them to come back to the South.

    I'm not going - not into the "festival" thing.
    I'm going to try for Vancouver thru TM because I'm going solo.
    I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

    Loyal fan for 20 years, and I won't be seeing them at all during their anniversary year.

    And seeing the clusterfuck that happened today, I'm fine with it.

    I'm preparing myself to just say whatever and get tixs from ticketmaster or have the lady call AMEX and use thier ticket service which will problly be the less stressful way.

    But i will try for 10c seats tomorrow.
