Definitely looking forward to it. What I've heard so far sounds great. I'm seeing them live next Wednesday and it should be a good one.

I'm definitely excited. I LOVE this band.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

I am excited. First off, yes 5/31 will be a great release day in the record store. And I really am liking You are a Tourist. I read that Ben got sober and this album will have an optimistic upbeat' vibe to it where he thought Narrow Stairs was their most depressing album to date. I'm digging the album cover too.

I can't wait! I like everything they've ever done. They might be my band of the 00's.

Listened to the NPR stream today. It's ok, I wish it rocked a little more. On the fence about whether I'll pick this up next week.

I cannot get enough of this album! I've been listening to it all week. Just saw them live on Wednesday night and it was such a great show! Happy to say the new songs translate well live especially Doors Unlocked and Open (my favorite right now) You're a Tourist, Underneath the Sycamore and Home Is a Fire.

I just saw them tonight and they were great. I hadn't really heard anything by them before so I bought Transatlanticism about a week ago do I'd have some idea. Bright Eyes opened and I really liked them, too.

I'm way excited for Codes & Keys! Anyone else watch Storytellers last night? I was a little disappointed with the set list to be honest. Was hoping for more songs from Transatlantacism.

After several subsequent listens, I've really started to like this album. I went to my local record store this morning to pick it up on vinyl and they wanted $27. It's a good album but not that good! I think I'll wait for the price to come down or just get the CD.

Death Cab vinyl is always pricy but sounds great. And becomes rare later on.

Does the vinyl come with a download code?

Does the vinyl come with a download code?

I preordered from their website and they e-mailed me the download, so I'm guessing it does not come with the vinyl itself. The DL is $5 on amazon, but once you pay $25-$30 for a record you clearly shouldn't have to spend any more on the download.
