I just booked a room at Americinn in Burlington and don't drink at all so I'd be willing to drive but we'll need a van or something, or we can pitch in for whatever too.

How many people are we talking about though?

Yeah we'll all need to come up with a roll call at some point. Hotels are booking up fast so we should have some time to put a plan together. It's me + 1.

I called the hotel, and they have a company that does this service. I'm supposed to call him back later with how much it would be.. but if we have enough dd's, I'm getting a rental car, either way, and I'd upgrade to an suv if we had enough dd's and people can fit into rentals

I guess I'll go ahead and do the organizing? PM me with how many, and I'll give the guy a call back based on that or what's already posted here and get an accurate quote and all of the other information and post it here?

Ok.. so here it goes. I need a final headcount by Monday. Apparently everyone decided to do this too! I counted 19-20 people between pm's and what was posted here, and if you posted between 1-3 unsure, I went with 3. They only have vans left, and they fit between 6 and 7 people. It's $150 per van, per night. With 3, that's $900 for both nights and about $45 a person total. And they only take cash, so no one would have to pay until the day of.

If this holds up, 45 bux is definitely worth it. I'd be in. I'd just want to REALLY make sure that they'd be there to pick us up after the show otherwise that's a looooooooooooooong walk!

You can take the GO train from Burlington right to the venue.
It is a clean safe ride and you dont need a DD then cab or walk to the hotel
its about a 45 minute ride- takes you to Union Station downtown toronto a block away from the venue
last train leaves at 12 or so to get home though-

I tried this earlier but I don't think it worked...my apologies in advance if I'm repeating this. It's my first post so please cut me a break:)
I am staying at the Hampton Inn in Burlington. Depending how Monday goes, there will be 3-4 people with me. We're all down for chipping in for a van.

That's not too bad at all on pricing, thanks for setting this up!

So now my plans have changed and I will need a hotel room for Saturday 9/4 only. If anyone is canceling their reservations at a hotel in East Troy, Geneva, Elkhorn, Delavan, or Burlington, please let me know. I would really, really, really appreciate it :D:D:D .

When you add the post above you, it came out to 23/24 people. They only told me they could get 3 vans, that would hold 6-7 people.. I'm looking at other options along with someone else to see if we can get all of us in on it.

I will give the lady a call back tonight. I counted 24-25 people, and based on what she said last time, we would not all fit. At most it would only hold 21 people. I'll still call her when I get home to see if anything has changed.

Again, thanks a lot for the trouble you had so far and the work still to come! =)
    I appreciate it a lot!
Here´s hoping you can convince them to get us one bigger van to go along the two regular ones, maybe with this we can accomodate the 4 or 5 remaining.

Other than that, maybe we whould see who of the previously interested ones really managed to get tickets? Maybe the number has been changed after The Great May 23rd Battle For Tickets...

I´ve actually got mine within "only" 8 hours of hitting refresh! :D
Since I have also confirmed plane tix from Curitiba to Sao Paulo to Santiago to Dallas to Milwaukee (whooofs!) and the hotel, I am ALL SYSTEMS GO! ;)

What about the rest of you, guys?
