Middle Brother

Anyone listening to these guys? Just released an album earlier this month, the band consists of the lead singers of Delta Spirit, Deer Tick, and Dawes. Three fantastic bands on their own. Their tour had full Dawes and Deer Tick sets prior to the Middle Brother set. Saw them in Boston recently, and had to go the next night in Providence.
Some videos I took. More on my channel.

I've never heard of them and haven't checked out your music links yet, but I just had to comment on the name of the band--Middle Brother--what a great name.
It reminded me of the middle child syndrome that some people have to endure and the psychological effects it can have on an individual. That right there could stir up alot of rock n' roll angst :x and passion which makes for great songs.0 -
Love them and a big fan of all three bands.0

I'm a big deer tick fan and I've seen the delta spirit, so this sounds like it should be right up my alley. I'll have to check these guys out.2006- Boston I

It's a nice way for them to expose their respective bands to the other bands fan-bases. I just happen to love all 3 of them.0

My buddy just played them for me this week. I knew the Deer Tick guy was involved but had no idea it was also the lead singer of Delta Spirit
They had one of my favorite albums of last year
Great news. Very cool band!“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”0 -
Real cool band. I'm a big fan of Dawes and Deer Tick so I've been excited about this project for awhile. Saw the show in Brooklyn about a week ago. Wrote a short review and took some videos if you want to check it out:

Nice writeup! Agree that Blood and Guts was pretty spectacular live. And you're right, that show is a steal. I would've paid $25 to see any one of those 3 bands. But we got all three.0 -
Excitedly waiting for this album to be delivered in the mail!We were but stones your light made us stars0

Thanks a lot Mulva, loved this show. "Blood and Guts" was incredible live, the album version just doesn't do it justice.... heavy, heavy tune live..... knocked me on my ass."This is about as perfect a crowd as you can get. I hate to placate, I ain't placating...." - EV, 9/29/960 -
I saw them for free yesterday morning here in Austin for SXSW, along with a few others at the Four Seasons!

If you don't have this album and you like alt country (jayhawks, son volt, Heartbreakers era Ryan Adams etc) then you are missing one of the best albums of the year.
This Album is great
She's A Southern Girl with out a Draw
She's a Good Girl who Wears Black Bras
Only one Who Can Make me Crawl
