Super 8 Delavan cancel res. if not going
Hi guys,
Super 8 in Delavan is booked! If you decide you are not going to attend PJ20 please cancel your reservation asap so those who want to attend can book a room there. Clearly, the best bang for your buck accommodations in the area.
Does anyone know of any other hotels with similar rates? Amenities are not nearly as important as cleanliness!

Yea I checked, but I am trying to stay at around 100.00 a night. I am finding a lot of 150-200 per night but the Delavan Super 8 actually had decent reviews at Tripadvisor.com and fit the budget nicely.
Hard part about Alpine Valley is that there is a lack of hotels to choose from and the nicer places at Lake Geneva are charging a lot because it is Labor Day weekend.
I'll keep looking... I can't believe the Super 8 is already sold out! Balls!POP POP!0 -
Does anyone have any experience with the Holiday Inn Express in New Berlin? I was told it is 30 minutes from venue. It seems as though generally you'll be at least 20 minutes from venue unless camping or staying at hotel on site.POP POP!0

I've never stayed here or heard anything about it, but I have been past it quite a few times and it's not far off I-43. If you're looking for price, I'd imagine this would be something to look at.

Thanks a lot. I'm guessing your'e a local? I don't mean to burden you with questions but just wondering how does this sit in relation to some of the touristy things I may want to experience near Alpine Valley? Chicago for example, or Lake Geneva and while we are at it, what are some cool things to do near Alpine Valley? Thanks for the response.POP POP!0 -

Yes very close and decent. Texas Roadhouse near you and a large Target just in case you need supplies. Your in a good spot IMO.0 -
I've stayed there before, good place if you don't mind the drive (all Freeway) to Alpine. Movie Threater, Target, BW3's, Texas Roadhouse, Steak and Lube Restuarant all right there.
If I were coming from out of town I would actually stay here....

Lake Geneva is very nice and close. If your an outdoor person and like to hike or walk we have may trails in the area. The leaves will be starting to change so it will be very beautiful out. Wisconsin in late summer is very nice.

WOW! Thanks for the recommendation! Sounds like a good place, can you share any insight on the hotel's proximity to tourist attractions and maybe more so than "tourists" destinations but just really cool places one should check out when in the area. I'm hoping to find a cool place for hiking and seeing some of the natural beauty of WI and hope to make it to Chicago.
After I typed this I saw Patrickredeyes response. Thanks, Im definitely looking for outdoor type attractions and yes some hiking. If my wife and I are able to attend PJ20 it would stand in for our vacation this summer so we'd try to make our trip really worthwhile. Hoping I'll enjoy more than just the concert in WI.POP POP!0
