It's not really a Lalala, it's more of an Ohoh by someone who is standing in a fridge or a coolhouse very far away, I'd say, if that is what you mean. It's really short and nearly inaudible, more of an echo or something. If you mean that  No Lala there for me, though :)

I'd say it's Ed - he took the microphone with him to the toilet and didn't notice that it was still on. He sang a quick one while he was "away" and later Brendan found this piece and decided to mix it in, very low-keyed so that it wouldn't be too embarrassing for Ed :lol:

not sure, i'd have to give this a listen when i'm home, but it made me think of something else-

ever heard that strange, kind of out of place bass thud toward the end of Release? can't recall the exact time, but it sounds like a fart. hilarious and totally unavoidable once you notice it.

Didn't Cherry get stuck in a fridge when she was playing hide and seek with Punky Brewster? Coincidence?? Hmmm...

I'm pretty sure that happened. Not sure if it was Henry Warnimont that found her or not, but she did eventually get out if you were wondering.

I know the part your talking about, but I always thought it was a cat meowing. La la la la is a little more logical.

Nothingman will definitely fall in my top 10 PJ songs of all time but I must admit that apart from the ooohs and aaaahs I dont hear a lalalala....sorry.

I hear something at around 4:19 (original Vitalogy CD). my guess is it's either a slight echo of one of Ed's 'oh oh's, or a backing vocal that's either been mixed waaaay down or sung by someone nowhere near a microphone!

    This!

It's Ed's harmonizing vocals, turned way down....no la la la, more like oh-oh-oh. And I have heard this a million times...seems pretty clear to me.

Nice catch. I've been listening to this song for 17 years and I don't remember picking it up before. It's definitely there in the right channel though.

 I haven't heard a Punky Brewster reference in quite some time! Well done! You are correct--Cherry did get stuck in the fridge during hide and seek. She wasn't very bright- I blame that belt that she wore around her head...
(I always wanted a PB type treehouse-that thing was awesome)
