    i was playing it yesterday and the kids are in the background saying something like "oh..come on...sigh...whine..sigh....eddie again???" complain complain complain..they couldn't tell the difference by listening :D

    Whoever's singing clearly has an accent. Most foreigners, whether they know how to speak English or not, will pronounce the English name the way they usually pronounce it in their own language. It's pretty easy to imitate foreign words if you practice. I would sing English songs with a pretty good accent before i even knew the language.

    Dude. It's legit. Listen to the actual studio of YL, it's completely different. Also, if his english is as bad as you say, the reason it sounds so close is because he mastered what he was hearing in the studio version, and copied the 'lyrics' he's hearing. Whenever i sing along to the studio, i'm singing what i hear, not what i think the words are.
