At his show in Melbourne. What an honor that would be.
I hope something shows up on youtube

Does anyone know if he has done this or any others before?

Bob Dylan is great. He just growls through unrecognizable versions of his songs and lets the fans guess what he played.

How the hell did anyone know what song he was covering?...

I've not heard of Dylan ever covering Pearl Jam before. I could be wrong. Bruce has covered Betterman.

    Amazing

Awesome. Would love to hear how Dylan interprets this song.

My mate that went is a PJ fan so was stoked that he played it. He said there was a guy on a banjo accompanying Bob and when he announced he was playing Better Man it seemed like he had just added it out of nowhere and the man on the banjo was franticly tuning it to play the song

If bob links doesn't list he didn't do it
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

After google-searching Marueen Dowd, I can confirm I am not her. I am however someone who has seen Bob Dylan in concert in 2004 and it...was...bad. A guy I met at the show who saw Bob a million times said that was the norm at the time; some nights he sings and some nights he incoherently rambles. I was at one of incoherent ramble shows. Not sure how he is these days.

Well I guess you sort of become used to his way of performing after a while and can kind of predict what he's going to play. But sometimes he makes it pretty impossible to me.

So, do you think it could be possible he covered Better man?

All right, I didn't get you were referring to the actual show earlier on and I was simply making my general comments. Thanks for specifying that. We can all live in peace now ;)
