This place is turning into the damn looney bin...

We're all a little anxious to hear about the event I will refuse to name anymore, but come on. It's getting to the point where every other post is "THIS IS THE WEEK!!!!", or "ALPINE IT IS!!!!" or "White Whale Set List"...come on amigos. There is no way any event can possibly live up to the hype that this board is creating for this (yet announced) event.

    Quite honestly, I'm sick of hearing about it and unless they come up with something super spectacular, I'm out.

    I've moved on, the excitement of it is over. I've made other plans for a summer vacation and if this doesn't fit into my plans, oh well.

    There will be a next time.
    Don't come closer or I'll have to go

    Same here. At this point I could really give a shit. I'm pleased w/ the Ed album, DVD and tour. I'm pumped for a possible tour, film, book and soundtrack...but this whole spectacular is just something I'm over as well.

    I personally like all the speculation and hype (I'm not even going to PJ20) - shows the love and passion for the band, for the music.
    It's better than all the complaining about tickets and stuff - when people are anticipating things and excitedly dreaming up setlists, it's a much nicer atmosphere and goes back to what this is all about : the MUSIC

    I think I'll take a hiatus from here during that period.

    I like anticipation too, but this has just been ridiculous and we have no one to blame but ourselves.

    Funny thing is, I haven't even read or posted in 1/8th of the speculation threads and I'm sick of hearing about it.

    Nothing is ever going to beat those four Spectrum shows, so I'm not worried about missing out on this.

    Were you at the Friday show? It was the single most spectacular PJ show I've ever been to and I've been to over 60 PJ shows.

    But I've never been to Bonnaroo, so I really can't answer to that. I just know that week in Philly was phenomenal.

    Yeah I did the Wachovia but got shut out of AC, which is practically in my backyard. :x (still PISSED about that) Man, I can hold a grudge, can't I? :lol:
